NRGE Friday Cranberry Glades Hike

Want to explore a CRANBERRY BOG on the way to NRGE? Cranberry Glades is the largest conserved bog in all of West Virginia, and it’s home to a really cool ecosystem with squishy peat ground and, of course, lots of cranberries. We shall depart cville at 2:30, arrive at the bog around 5, and frolic through the cranberries for an hour or so. Then we’ll continue our journey to NRGE and reconvene with our friends at Rays campground. We’ll be staying on the boardwalks throughout the bog to protect the ecosystem!

What to bring:
