It takes kahunas to sign up for a trip with this title. If it doesn’t phase you, we’re going to get along. ‘Erbody get those gnarslippers: Let’s go climb!
This trip is a beginner friendly bouldering trip at the NRGE for Saturday morning-afternoon. If you’ve never climbed before, I’d love to talk you through the basics of technique and bouldering culture!
Intermediate climbers, feel free to sign up, too–we’ll go to an area with a lot of variation, probably Cotton Bottom/Top or Hawk’s Nest.
We will meet by the pond at our campsite at 10am. We’ll arrive back at Ray’s in the afternoon.
For this trip bring:
climbing specific shoes, chalk in a bag, 1-2L H2O, snacks
For NRGE:
Food for the weekend
Camping gear: tent, sleeping pad+bag, headlamp, cooking utensils, stove
Clothes: rain gear, layers/fleece, etc.
Plenty of water (2+ liters), water filter
I’ll bring:
crash pads, first aid
*I will not be providing transportation to NRGE that will be coordinated by the carpool squad.
