Nrge Ghost Town Backpacking

OVERVIEW

Hiking through ghost towns? Camping in ghost towns? Swimming near ghost towns?

The plan is to head out to base camp for Friday night, hike Saturday, camp in/near a ghost town Sat night, and hike out and head home on Sunday. Should be about 10-12 mi of decent hiking along the river. The plan is to hit the Kaymoor, Rend, and Southside trails, and somewhere around TEN ghost towns. If you want to do a Friday trip (mountain biking etc) you can definitely do that as well.

Starting out with the people that will fit in my car, and I’ll add people as drivers sin up.

The $20 fee is part of base camp, and will likely be reduced. When you get onto this trip you should withdraw from the base camp trip.
