Nrge Hike: Kate’s Plateau and Poll’s Plateau Day Hike. Driver Needed

Hey Everyone! Super excited for NRGE weekend?!?!

DRIVER NEEDED!!!!

My name is Kate and I am planning to lead this hike called Kate’s Plateau!!!

Details: 5.1 mile hike.
Kate’s Plateau is 5.1 miles. Look for signs of beaver, deer, and turkey as you follow old logging roads. The trail passes through fields, forests, and near wetlands. Parts are quite steep.

Game Plan: I want to meet at Ray’s camp ground around 8 am. It is about an hour drive to the trail. I hope to be out on the trail by 9:30. I have never hiked this trial before, but I hope to be done by 2 pm and then get back to campgrounds around 3 pm.

Until we have more drivers, everyone will be waitlisted.

What y’all need to bring:
Study shoes_
Backpack to put stuff in_
Wear non-cotton clothes, and pack: __
breakfast in-stomach or in-hand, __
multiple layers of clothes to put on / peel off as needed, __
swimsuit & towel?, __

2-3 L water, __

extra corrective lenses if applicable, __

I am planning to bringing along some sandels, so that I can soak my legs in the cool stream. Cool water is the best remedy for tried legs and feet.

If people are feeling up to it, I may also lead a peaceful guided mediation during lunch time.

I am also trained in Wilderness First Aid. Planning to bring to bring a well stocked first aid kit to help with blisters, bug bites, etc. Please give accurate medical info so that I plan accordingly.
