OVERVIEW

HELLO NRGE SHREDDERS
I am very excited to invite you to come ride bikes with me on what will be a beautiful Saturday in the lovely Wolf Creek Park. Since this trip is intermediate, I will not be going over the basics of mountain biking. This trip is targeted for people who have been on around at least 2-3 trips or at a minimum feel comfortable on the beginner trails we go through on beginner trips and want to try the intermediate trails, if you’re concerned about those targets just let me know! I will be happy to clear anything up for you. With that being said, no one will be left behind! This is meant to be a fun chill way to spend your day and definitely not a race or a free for all! We’ll take breaks and chit chat all along the way.

For the biking itself, Wolf Creek has some awesome beginner/intermediate trails that we will start on. We’ll go from easy to hard, and if we’re REALLY feeling it, we may even try some harder stuff. We’ll probably stop for a little snack break in the middle too, so bring your fav trail snack if you’d like. Afterwards, if everyone wants to, we’ll head into town for some lunch before heading back to camp. It’ll be super duper fun!

GEAR:
If you don’t have your own mountain bike or helmet, let me know on the trip questionnaire and we’ll try to secure you a club bike/helmet. Everyone will be waitlisted for this trip initially and depending on bike availability individuals will be taken off the wait list accordingly.
IF YOU HAVE A TOW HITCH I NEED YOU
I can quite literally only fit my own bike in my car because I do not own a tow hitch, so I’ll need some help getting the bikes out to camp. The club has a few bike racks available, so you don’t need a rack itself. pleasepleaseplease someone with a tow hitch help me out here. you will be absolute TOP PRIORITY off the waitlist.

What you need:
– Water (Either a bottle that will fit in a bottle cage, or bring a small backpack/hip pack to hold it)
– Gloves (optional)
– Closed-toe shoes
– Weather appropriate clothing
– optional trail snack for funsies
– any other gear you would like to bring (sunglasses, etc)

What the club will provide(if you need):
– Bikes
– Helmets

What I will bring:
my own bike and gear and whatnot
first aid kit

The plan (subject to change depending on how we’re feeling):
9:00 am: gather and get bikes ready
9:15 am: head out to Wolf Creek Trail Heads
9:40 am: start biking!
12:00 ish pm: pack up bikes and head out for lunch maybe??
We will return to Ray’s by 2:00pm
