NRGE Long Point Friday Sunset Hike!!

OVERVIEW

~this is a NRGE friday trip so please join only if you are already on a saturday trip! and in the main carpool!~
Hello NRGE-lings!! are you attending nrge and wish you were doing a silly little hike on friday? then join charlotte & i as we meander around Long Point & watch the sunset over the iconic bridge!! This is only a 3 mile hike but we unfortunately must depart cville around 1 because classes so we will be zooming to catch the sunset. (but zooming when we hike, not zooming when we drive to nrge because evelyn drives responsibly.) We’re also planning to stop for dinner at the lovely Pies & Pints after the sunset-basking for some supper before ending at ray’s campground. start your NRGE weekend right w sunsets & pies!
PLAN:
1pm: meet & echols & depart for the gorge!!
4pm: arrive @ long point trailhead
4-6ish (maybe shorter): catch sunset & bask in the fall west virginia golden hour
6-7ish: eat pie(s)
7ish: arrive @ ray’s and continue your NRGE adventuring!!
YOU BRING:
anything you need for NRGE and your other adventures!
water, snacks
$ for pies and pints — or bring your own dinner either is good!
