NRGE Long Point Friday Sunset Hike!!

OVERVIEW

**NOTE: Please only sign up if you are already on NRGE & have paid the fee and are on the main carpool! **
Howdy NRGE folks! Do you want to start off NRGE by doing a lil hike and watching the sunset? We do too! Come join Ben & I as we meander on one of the park’s most popular trails and hopefully catch some sun-setting rays before heading to rays campground!! (that could have been a good pun but i am too tired to think of one). Here is the alltrails: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/west-virginia/long-point. It should be a nice little 3ish mile hike that overlooks that bridge featured in all the NRGE pictures!
OH ALSO: We have 1 car and can optimistically fit 3 people + camping gear but DRIVERS GET PRIORITY off the waitlist to help us fit more people and/or gear :))
THE PLAN:
2pm leave Echols (or wherever people want to be picked up)
drive for 3 hrs (i will DJ and i take requests)
5ish arrive at The New River Gorge!!
5-6:30ish (depending on how long we want to chill at overlook) hike Long Point Trail
6:30ish: drive to Pies & Pints & munch delicious WV food & share sunset stories (Or bring a dinner of your own- your choice!)
~sometime after (8ish?) arrive at Ray’s Campground
