Nrge Midday Hike Overlooking the Gorge – Grandview Rim Trail, Little Laurel Trail, Etc

OVERVIEW

With flora, ridge lines, expansive outlooks, moving water, and NRGE, what more could you possibly want from a hike?

Plan: We leave NRGE Headquarters at 12pm for the Grandview trailhead parking area between Shelter 3 and 4. Then we must choose. The park has 6 miles of unique trail (we’d have to backtrack a few times), so although I’m planning to hit up Grandview Rim trail and Big Buck Trail, we can also add on a few more if we’re feeling it.

Logistics: Driver’s get off the waitlist first. Once you are off the waitlist, you may sign up for the NRGE general carpool trip. I’m limiting the crew to 12-15 people and waitlisting all until we have drivers.

Bring: food, water, camera, and maybe a swimsuit/towel
