Hey Folks
On the Gauley River there is a special place known as the “Perfect Wave” which is a standing wave with a long flat water pool behind it. I propose that on Sunday we go surf that mofo. Though it has been done before (there are a few grainy videos on YouTube) this will be a totally experimental trip. I’ll be bringing a few boards and river-aficionado Josh Tracy might also be bringing his river SUP. I won’t have sign ups for the trip but if you are down for a little explorin and river time on Sunday then we can chat at NRGE and coordinate rides etc.
