NRGE Saturday Intermediate Mountain biking

OVERVIEW

Time to make NRGE a lot more shreddy. This trip is part of the New River Gorge Extravaganza weekend long camping trip, and we’ll be meeting on Saturday morning at the campsite and heading to Wolf Creek Park in Fayetteville to ride. The trails will be cross country style riding, so there will be short uphill and downhill sections throughout the ride. Some prior mountain bike experience is necessary whether it is from club trips or on your own. The ride will probably be about 10 miles with about 1000ft in elevation gain.
If we finish early enough in the day we can go for a short hike in the gorge or people can chill at the campsite.
Once you are off the waitlist for this trip, you must join the NRGE carpool adventure on the website. The fee for this trip is $0 but there is a $10 cost for the overall NRGE trip.

You bring:
-weather appropriate clothes to bike in (non cotton)
-shoes to bike in. Shoes with a flat grippy bottom are best
-phone with Mountain Bike Project app downloaded. Download West Virginia region in app before leaving Cville.
-backpack with snacks and water for the ride. There is a spot to fill water bottles at the campsite
-money if the group wants to stop for breakfast or lunch somewhere

-club bikes and helmets for people who need
-a cute dog
-car with bike carrying capacity
