NRGE Sunday Climbing

OVERVIEW

This is for Sunday! And after climbing we will return to cville. Otherwise it’s the exact same description as my other nrge trip. We may or may not go to the same crag.

This is a NRGE trip meaning once you are let off the waitlist here, you should sign up for the NRGE main carpool trip.

This trip is beginner friendly! We can teach you the basics of climbing throughout the day. I haven’t decided on a climbing spot yet but will try to choose something that strikes a balance beginner to intermediate routes.

Things you must bring:
-Climbing shoes
– food
– water
-jacket
– small gloves (if the rock is cold you’ll want them)

Things you should bring if the gear room isn’t out. But I’ll have extras:
-Climbing Harness
– Climbing Helmet

Things I bring:
– First aid kit
– ropes
– quickdraws
– trad rack

Finally my disclaimer statement: I reserve the right to “ground” anyone who I think is being unsafe. Examples include not paying attention while belaying, throwing rocks, fooling around near cliff edges etc. This is a serious sport and I want everyone to be as safe as possible.
