Nrge: Trail Running with a Sunrise

OVERVIEW

NRGE people,

Start the day off right with some sunrise striding! We’ll be running to a beautiful outcropping along the rim of the New River Gorge.
We’ll depart from base camp around 6:45 am, start running around 7:00 am, and arrive at the overlook before sunrise at 7:20. On the way back, we’ll explore some other trails to increase the total mileage to around 5 miles.
Pace will depend on the group. If you’re attending another trip during the day, fret not; we’ll arrive back at base camp before 8:30. You’ll have plenty of time to eat breakfast, hang out with the non-runners, and go on your trip!

You should bring:
– water
– a snack
– a flashlight
– your running legs
