***Nrge Trip** Farewell Hike En Route to Charlottesville

OVERVIEW

Although the NRGE has yet to begun, this trip will be about its farewell.
On Sunday morning, we will wake up in the morning, pack up camp (get your stuff ready the night before pls), and mosey (aka drive) to the fine gem of Virginia, Douthat State Park.

We will be doing the Beards Mountain Hike which is a jaunty 7 mile hike.https://www.hikingupward.com/OVH/BeardsMountain/
Vistas abound.

Not only do we get to experience the beautiful foliage, but we get to share in the good company of friendship.

After completing these two hikes, the teary eyed group shall make its way back to Charlottesville.

NB: We are not returning to Ray’s but to Charlottesville, and therefore everything comes with us to the trip.

What you need:
-2 L water
-comfortable shoes
-snacks if you like
-lunch or food (we can potentially stop on the way out)
-layers (likely will be chilly but don’t want to overheat on the trail)

What I need:
-drivers–everyone will be waitlisted until I get enough drivers
