This is a beginner friendly climbing trip. If you have never climbed before we’ll teach you everything you need to know for an awesome day of climbing. We’ll start our day leaving Ray’s Campground at 8am on Saturday and head to the crag. After a full day of climbing, we’ll head back to Ray’s for pizza and campfire shenanigans.
The crag that we’ll climb at hasn’t been decided. I’ll choose a crag that best matches the ability of people on the trip and the conditions (there is a possibility of rain the night before and on Saturday).
For this day trip you’ll need to bring HIKING SHOES, ROCK CLIMBING SHOES (you can check these out at a gear room this week), WARM CLOTHES, A RAIN JACKET, WATER, AND FOOD FOR LUNCH. I’ll provided the harnesses, helmets, and technical climbing gear.
