I think the club allotment in the summer is $4.00 per person. The club allotment will not cover all of the camping fees. Please bring extra $$$ to cover extra camp fees.

FOOD:
The Club’s summer allotment will fully cover breakfast, lunch, and river snacks. Please bring extra money for dinner.

FOOD PLANS: We are eating on the road Friday evening on the way to the Ocoee. Cooking breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning. Eating out at the Gondolier Saturday evening. Eat on the road Sunday on the way home. NOTE: Please bring extra $$$ for restaurants.

RAFTING:
There’s commercial trips available on the Ocoee, you can inquire about those here: http://www.ocoeerafting.com/

CLUB PROVIDES: Boats & gear if you need it, camping gear if you need it, but YOU are responsible for checking out/bringing all necessary paddling and camping gear for this trip.

GAS/FUEL: The club allotment is $150 per vehicle. This trip will exceed the gas allotment of $150. Please bring extra money to cover the cost of fuel on this trip. I’m guessing about four tanks or fuel depending on your vehicle MPG.

SAFETY:
If you choose to participate on this trip, and you agree to have read and will abide by the American Whitewater Safety Code http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Wiki/safety:start?
Those with the appropriate skills may join.

TIMES/PLAN/LEGAL:
Ocoee:
My personal intentions:
Depart: Friday morning 8 or 9am
Paddle: Saturday and Sunday
Return: Sunday, I would prefer to be on the road between 3/5pm

Of course you can depart and return at different times, however we are responsible to make strong efforts to car pool and limit the number of vehicles, especially on such a distant trip. From Charlottesville to the Ocoee is 7 hours plus.
