Old Rag on Saturday

OVERVIEW

I was thinking about going out to Old Rag this Saturday. For those you who havent done it, this is a great hike. You should do it at least once if you ever live in Virginia. Highlights include a 1 mile rock scramble near the top as well as great views. Because it is such a popular hike, there is an $8 entrance fee which you will be responsible for, but its worth it. It is also rated as a strenuous hike, so keep that in mind.

You will also need to bring a liter or two of water, lunch/snacks for the trail, a day pack, and appropriate clothing. It could be colder closer to the top of the mountain.
