One Final Smokey Semester Send on Saturday

Howdy y’all,

Classes end tomorrow, my first final is Friday, and it’ll be cold as a yeti’s behind, but it’s still time to send some routes. The plan is to do sunshine wall at smoke hole to sap what warmth we can. Fair warning, there’s rain forecasted for Friday, and snow for Sunday so we’re going in the only open window, but if things shift Sunday would be a possibility (barring the falling of snowflakes).

Sunshine wall is pretty moderate with some highly rated 5.8s and up. I plan to stay in the 5.8/9 range since there are a bunch of them and they look fun. We’ll do a 7:15 start to max out on sunshine, and we can head back at dusk or when people get tired/cold, so we should be back to cville by 7:30 or 8pm

ya climbing stuff (helmet, harness, shoes, chalk, belay device)
food and snacks
water
appropriate clothing to be outside all day! (check the forecast) — it will be cold
warm drinks/stoves to make it warm
