Why hellloooo fellow outdoors-lovers!!!

You know what’s even better than going for a scenic hike or shredding on your bike? Doing all those things while staying alive, healthy, and ready to gallump outside again!! SOO that’s why we’d like to introduce…*Cue dramatic funky music* THE MOST EPIC WILDERNESS FIRST AID SEMINAR ODC HAS EVER SEEN.

Here’s the vision: You, us, New Cabell hall, a buncha fun gear to improvise into wilderness first aid, and a whole lotta passion. Rumor has it Sarah might even be cocooned into a hypo wrap?!?! (Come to the trip to learn about the magic of hypo wrapping!!)

This is by no means a certification or exhaustive first-aid course, but both of us got our WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certifications this summer and realized how crucial it is for us to make sure we’re being as safe as possible out in the world yonder. This workshop should help us all on our outdoor pursuits, and it’ll be a chill way to meet more people in the club and munch on some homemade cookies (sorry New Cab food rules). And this is probably the closest to Grey’s Anatomy we may ever be in real life!! (The Grace Gray (and Sarah Dowling) version?)

This trip is for ALL SPORTS AND SKILL LEVELS, so whether you’re dipping your toes into attending trips or lead them on the daily, come out and learn what to do when things don’t go to plan in da woods!!!!!

6-6:09: gather in Monroe Hall room 118, munch on cookiez n ponder the magic of hypo wraps
6:09-7ish: dive into first aid demos and soak in Sarah’s beautiful PPT slides
