We’ll leave around 7:45am from Echols

Arrive at Weems and 10am-12:30pm:
Friends of the Rappahannock needs help bagging clean oysters that will help grow oyster reefs along Coastal VA. FOR staff will guide you through the process of creating a bag of oyster shell – please note this requires working together to move baskets that may weigh up to 50 pounds! -You guys should be able to handle it. They just say the 50lbs thing to scare the retired folk.

12:30-1:30 Find a place to eat/buy lunch

1:30 to 3:30 Head to Nature Preserve on the beach to explore/look for birds/check out the Bay

Bring-
-closed toe shoes clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
-sandals if you want for beach
-lunch/$ for lunch
-water and snacks as needed!
-binoculars for birding
