Paddleboarding picnic

OVERVIEW

The season of the SUP may be coming to a close… Let’s celebrate the fall with a festive picnic on this peninsula type thing in the middle of Ragged. The idea is to paddle out to a nice spot on land with food in tow, walk to the picnic spot, and FEAST! We (Ella and Cam) will provide some food (exact food TBD but I am hoping it will be fall themed somehow) and a pocket rocket to make hot cacao – and you all can also bring a lil somethin for everyone to share if you would like. Also, we’ll get to see the sunset at Ragged which is super pretty!

SUP stands for stand-up paddle boarding. Paddle boarding is super fun and relatively easy- no experience is needed for this trip besides knowing how to swim or float, and we will provide the SUPs!

Da plan:
5:00 – meet at corner of echols
5:15 – arrive at Ragged and blow up SUPs
5:30 – paddle about
6:00 ish – picnic time
7:00 – return to cars
7:30 – back at echols in time for bonfuego

What to bring:
-Food if you would like
-Hot chocolate vessel
-Water
-Swimsuit or change of clothes
-Towel
-LAYERS!

We will bring:
– hot cocoa

– paddles
