Paddling Thursday

OVERVIEW

Gonna head to Richmond to paddle Thursday. Planning on leaving around 11am and you should be back in cville by 4 or 5pm at the latest.

The high on Thursday is supposed to be something like 28…. therefore similar rules apply to Emmett’s trip from this weekend. I am not going to risk you getting hypothermia or me getting hypothermia trying to save you, so if you cannot combat roll I will not be letting you off of the waitlist. There will be other times in the spring to paddle the James for your first time if your roll isnt so strong.

Per usual, club provides boats, gear, and some cold water apparel. Bring food, water, lots of synthetic layers, and a change of clothes plus towel.
