Paddling x rock scrambling = FUN!

OVERVIEW

What better way to spend a sunny afternoon than paddleboarding and climbing rocks at ragged? Over the summer Cam and I discovered a small island in the middle of the reservoir with some fun adventure-y boulders on it and we’d love to share the fruits of our exploration with other odc members. This is a beginner friendly trip, we just ask that you are able to swim. Also, some very basic experience/interest in rock scrambling would be good to have. Bring a snack to eat on the island! We’ll head out to the reservoir, paddle and swim around, and make our way to the island to explore and eat snacky snacks. Then head back in time for saturday night festivities!

5:00 pm– meet at corner of echols
5:15 pm– get to ragged and blow up SUPs
5:30-7 pm ish — paddle about and go to island
7:30 pm– arrive back at echols
