Peak Experiences Climbing Gym
With over 40,000 square feet of climbs and boulder problems, Peak is one of the best climbing gyms in Virginia. Thursday are buy one get one free, so the price only 5.50$. You must know how to belay in order to sign up for this trip (due to the fact that Peak requires a belay test for new climbers, but see below***). Members outside of Charlottesville are welcome of course, but may not be reimbursed completely for gas. Peak has a really good gear shop too, in case you want to pick up some gear.
In addition to climbing, Marc and his parents welcome all of us to his house afterwards for food, drinks and some pool/hot tub action. That’s right, Marc has a nice pool now and word has it that it is the place for some serious pool volleyball. Always fun…
