OVERVIEW

PISGAH!?!?! What’s that you might ask?? It’s a wonderful National Forest in North Carolina with phenomenal outdoor recreation, gorgeous fall weather at this time of year and the location of 3 successful ODC trips in the past few years… so we want to BRING PISGAH BACKKKKK!!!!! Join us for the newest, freshest, off-the-press, and most sought-after WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA PISGAH MEGA TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!

WHO?

PISGAH is set for Thursday October 1 – Tuesday October 6th. The club has reserved a mega-awesome campsite for us all to begin and end our daily adventures from…

LEADING TRIPS!

This mega-trip, as with the quality of the club as a whole, depends primarily on 1 factor: TRIP LEADERS!!!! To make this mega-trip work, we need people to step up and organize a trip (or two or three :)) to a destination around the Pisgah, DuPont, Asheville area… for friday-monday. (trip idea link pisgah trip ideas )The goal is to have several trip options going out on Friday, Saturday and likely some Sunday morning trips before our return to Cville with one campsite for all of us to converge and party after the adventures. There is a fee required ($25), that will be paid after getting off the waitlist for the MAIN CARPOOL.

Attendees will sign up by filling out the google form and then Afton, Pietro, Evan, and Max will figure out a sched for Friday, Sat, Sunday, Monday trips gear and car dependent. After the form has been out for a few days, we will post the MAIN CARPOOL to organize rides to & from Pisgah and ensure a spot on the BEST mega TRip OF the YEar!!! (not counting Moab)
***YOU WILL NOT BE LET ONTO THE TRIP UNTIL YOU HAVE FILLED OUT THE GOOGLE FORM*** We reserve the right to priotitize trip leaders and those with sport knowledge to make sure that we have trips for everyone to go on in the beautiful land of pisgah!!

so TLDR: what to do know if you want to come to PISGAH
check your class and work schedule and make sure you are free to leave charlottesville from 10-1/10-6 (potentially a late car leaving friday (10-2) if you have classes, so don’t let that stop you!)
FILL OUT GOOGLE FORM! think of your trip idea (or no stress if you just want to be a participant) & fill out the google form

watch the ODC website and check your email for the posting of the pisgah

Those who are let off the waitlist for the MAIN CARPOOL will be added to the trip groupme once we receive the trip fee! (only pay after you have been let off the waitlist!)
