Pisgah Sunday Bouldering at Rumbling Bald

OVERVIEW

Join me for a day of bouldering at Pisgah (weather permitting). This is a trip open for all levels, so if you’ve never been climbing outside before that it fine. The only thing I’ll say is an outdoor V0 typically translates to a Slaughter V1+/V2, so take with that what you will. More or less we will choose boulders based on group expertise and preference so there is flexibility. If people didn’t send something they wanted to on Friday we can also go back to boulders for sendzzzzzzz. This will be a shorter bouldering day since we have to drive back to Charlottesville afterward. Note that joining this trip means you will drive back with the same people.

ITINERARY
8:30 am – leave campground (I am putting 8:30 because ya girl always runs late)
9:45 am – arrive at Rumbling Bald Mountain and CLIMBBBBBBBB
3:00 pm – finish climbing and head back to Cville
9:00 pm – arrive back home (added time to stop for food for those interested)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
– BRING YA CLIMBING SHOES…sneakers will not cut it and if you don’t own shoes ODC has some and you can also rent at Slaughter for $1 a day, but get that sorted ASAP
– Chalk (I can share some chalk but would prefer not to have everyone use my chalk the whole trip please!)
– Rain Jacket
– Lunch + Snacks
