Post-Finals Daytrip to Snowshoe

OVERVIEW

OK, so we probably won’t see a Snowmageddon/Snowpacalypse-like event tomorrow, but they’ve received 36″ of the good stuff at Snowshoe as of today, so that calls for some action. If you can’t make it out there for the full weekend trip, join us for a daytrip to Snowshoe this Saturday! According to today’s snow report, Cupp Run is due to open top to bottom on Saturday. Even if you aren’t familiar with Cupp Run at Snowshoe, this bit of news should make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

We’ll leave Bonnycastle Circle nice and early at 6 AM (don’t worry, you can sleep in the car) to try to get some first tracks in before the masses of n00bs arrive, and we’ll leave when the slopes close. Our return time can be flexible, but we’ll tentatively plan to head back to UVa at 4 PM.
