Visible Records! A wonderful place – It’s a space for art, community organizing, localized social justice and gardens.
Join us Wednesday night at 6 pm to plant some potatoes in one of the gardens and then at 7 pm attend The Visiting Room screening.
The Visible Record event description reads:
“Join the Virginia Law in Prison Project at UVA Law for a one of a kind digital experience that invites you to sit face-to-face with people serving life without the possibility of parole to hear them tell their stories, in their own words. Following the screening you’ll have the chance to speak directly with former “lifers” who are now working as resentencing advocates and community organizers in Louisiana.”
