Pre-finals Paddle Boarding Palooza

OVERVIEW

Are you prepared for THE BEST, MOST EPIC aquatic experience of the 2023-2024 academic year!!!!!!???????

If you want to destress before the dumpster fire of finals, COME JOIN US. Using our extensive paddle boarding experience, we will be leading lucky trip goers into the wild waters of the Ragged Mountain Reservoir. Nate has acquired profound knowledge of paddling through multitudes of years of paddling the exotic rivers of Austin, Texas, while Liv has gained mastery of the board after paddling once two weeks ago. Ragged is beautiful and the sun will be nice, so come join us for some paddle boarding SPICE!!!!!

We are in desperate need for drivers. We are first years – the struggle is real. Drivers will get priority off the waitlist for sacrificing their car for 3 hours of fun in the sun. Gas will not be reimbursed because it is an approximately 7 minute drive (we are sorry🫤). We will expand the trip if we can get enough drivers, so don’t be shy to join even if the waitlist is full 😀

SCHEDULE:
12 pm – meet at Corner of Echols. If you are late we WILL capsize your paddle board
12:10 pm – pick up paddle boards from the Shrack
12:20 pm – arrive at Ragged and inflate boards (bring every single muscle you own)
12:30 pm – LAUNCH.
2:30 pm – deflate paddle boards (and mood)
2:45 pm – return paddle boards at Shrack
3:00 pm – back at corner of Echols and bid farewell to all of your new paddle boarding pals

WHAT TO BRING
– Bathing suit
– Towel
– Water
– SUNSCREEN
– Change of clothes (if you want)
– Water shoes (optional)
– 3 songs for the playlist (not optional. pressure is on.)

– Paddle boards
– Paddles
– Pumps
– Waterproof speaker
– Our insanely awesome extensive knowledge of the paddle
