The first time I hiked Bearfence it was a tribute to Blair Nicol (who I didn’t know at the time) and I was convinced that the hike was actually named “Blairfence”. Now that I have been enlightened and have met Blair Nicol lets go check out the sunrise!
Its a quick hike, the perfect way to say goodbye to SNP before you head off on your spring break adventures!
Le Plan:
5:10am-Meet at the Castle Culdesac
5:15am – Leave
6:15 am– Get to the trailhead and walk a lil bit
6:40am – The main event
8:00am – Back in Hooville in time to get learnt (if you have an 8am you will likely not make it on time)
bring:
-Sturdy shoes
-Layers/blankets/sleeping bags; whatever will maximize your comfort
-Books for class (?)
headlights will NOT be necessary, but feel free to bring one if you want
DRIVERS NEEDED!
-drivers get priority off the waitlist. The club reimburses for gas +50% tip!
-drivers need to show up to the Castle with a full tank of gas!
