Priest — Crabtree Falls Hike

OVERVIEW

We’ll climb nearly 1000 meters
(3000 feet) up to “the Priest”. This strenuous climb is the
largest on the AT, so please only sign up if you’re in
excellent shape. Because of the drought & the autumn season, I
anticipate good views in many places.

The plan is to climb the Priest via the AT and then descend via
Crabtree Falls. To do this we drive to the base, unload people
and then do a car shuttle to the base of Crabtree falls. At least 2 cars required.

What to bring: water (2 liters), lunch, hiking clothes (layers), hiking boots

Club provides: carpool money/seat in a car
