Procrastinate Finals by Climbing: Intermediate Bouldering on the Parkway

OVERVIEW

Hey y’all! The weather on Saturday is looking absolutely fantastic for climbing so join me in an outdoor bouldering sesh in order to not think about finals!

Where we go specifically depends on who signs up and the mood of the group. The best possibilities because of the variety of grades are probably the Mustang and Incredibles Boulders. However, Siesta, the Ridgeline, and 12.2 also have really great lines. Note that we will NOT be going to the Forest (all the previously mentioned boulders are nearby but not in the Forest area proper).

Note that intermediate means being able to climb V4 or harder at Slaughter. If you’ve been outside before and have felt discouraged, don’t be! I boulder outside a lot and know beta for many climbs on the parkway and can give tips/tricks. You also do not need to have climbed outside before! I ALSO WILL TAKE PICTURES (to entice you to join my trip… :p)

– Layers of Clothing (IT IS NORMALLY 10 DEGREES COLDER ON THE PARKWAY…BRING LAYERS YOU CAN TAKE OFF)
– Hat + Gloves
