Pumpkin Patch Extravaganza

OVERVIEW

Let’s enjoy fall!

PHASE 1: We’ll be going to Chiles Peach Orchard in Crozet to pick pumpkins straight from the patch and maybe enjoy the seasonal festivities there for a little bit.

PHASE 2: Coming home, carving pumpkins outdoors somewhere (on the Lawn?), collecting seeds to be roasted

Note: I wish we could do “phase 3: roasting seeds” but we can’t actually roast seeds because they’ll need to be dried first. I can give you my favorite super-easy recipe though!

Drivers please come with your gas tank full if you want to be reimbursed!

You Bring:
$$$ if you want to get a pumpkin
Any pumpkin carving tools you have (spoons, knives, ideas, templates, etc)
A tupperware or something to take your pumpkin seeds home

Club Provides:
A ride/ gas money
Fun times

NOTE: I’m not sure how driving on grounds works since there is a game on Saturday. I will email/text if the meeting location is changed, so stay tuned!
