Queer Camping 10/21-22 !!

OVERVIEW

Information!
– We are doing an affinity trip with the Queer Student Union (QSU) on October 21st-22nd! It will be a car camping trip at Todd Lake Campground. We will be leaving at 3pm on Friday and returning around 2:30(pm) on Saturday.
– We are doing communal food, so you don’t need to bring any of your own.
– Unless you will be bringing your own gear, there is no need to worry about checking any gear out from the gear room. As this is a larger affinity trip, Melu and I will be checking out all of the gear.
– If you have already signed up through QSU no need to also sign up here!
– This is an affinity trip, so please do not sign up for this trip if you do identify yourself to be a part of the LGBT community
– If you have questions please reach out!

To bring (if you have it):
-if you have any camping equipment (e.g. tent, sleeping bag, sleep mat, etc.), bring that. If you do not, then absolutely no worries. As this is a larger trip, the trip leaders are going to be responsible for the gear.
-hiking clothes
-headlamp
-a good attitude and gay spirit!

Timeline:
Friday:
3 – convene at the corner of Echols!
4:30(ish) – arrive at the campsite, set up camp, you know camping things

Saturday:
[insert time that people wake up] – wake up!
8ish – Breakfast/hanging out
Hiking (or not) depending on people’s fancy
1pm – leave The Woods
2:30pm – return to civilization and go our merry little ways
