Ramsey’s Draft Hiking

OVERVIEW

Squeeze a day of hiking in between exams and rain! The weather Tuesday is supposed to be good, so we’ll drive out to Ramsey’s Draft in the George Washington National Forest- described as “a pristine, spring-fed mountain stream” surrounded by clusters of Eastern hemlock- and spend the morning and early afternoon hiking. Depending on the group’s interests and time constraints, we can either go for an 8 or 15 mile loop. All you need is comfortable shoes and clothes, water, food to last you through the afternoon, and the condition for at least 8 miles of hiking. Return time depends on the loop we choose, could be earlier or could be later, but you should be back in plenty of time to study or go out.
