Corner of Echols
back at echols!
UREC's Adventure Center, Driver Drive, Harrisonburg, VA, USA
Last year we went to the Virginia Adventure Education Conference (VAAEC for short) and it was epic (knot tying, aerial silks, one arm tent-building, track identification and MORE). We’re going to do it again and bring a big ODC crew so maybe just maybe we can win the team challenge this year.
The VAAEC is a rare and wonderful chance to go to a professional event that is also outdoorsy. We will attend workshops, hear people talk, do networking (i guess… whatever that means) and win some swag! This year it’s at JMU so it’s closer than last year and they have a pool and a climbing gym AND our very own Allie Shellhammer is teaching a workshop. wowza
You must go sign-up for the conference (https://www.vaaec.org/participant-registration.html) to be let off the waitlist! Registration costs $25. February 16th is the registration deadline and also the deadline for this trip. Right now I can take 4 people in my car, but if more drivers sign up we can take more people!
