Recess w/ Stevie and Margz!! (embodiment + connection with nature + inner child, etc.)

OVERVIEW

College slog got you down?
Do you find yourself longing for the days of frolicking around the playground, rubbing leaves, galloping, playing pretend, etc.??
Do you looooove feeling the earth beneath you? Even hugging a tree?
If so, come on out to the first of hopefully many ODC recess trips!

The plan is for this to be a chill space for people to do whatever feels joyful!
Intuitive, joyful movement is something that so many of us lose as we grow up, but it is such a healing thing to do, no matter what age you are.
Sensory connection with our bodies and our world and NATURE is something that can be so exciting and at the same time bring a sense of profound peace!!!!!

We’ll meet at the corner of Echols dorm and make the quick stroll (maybe even skip?) over to the field next to the Bonnycastle tennis courts. There we will find a lovely creek, open space, and sidewalk for chalking (hopscotch??)

I’ll bring
– Chalk
– Frisbees
– Snacks with childhood vibes
– Paper and crayons for leaf rubbings

You bring:
– Your childlike sense of wonder, or a willingness to try to access it
– Any snacks you want to eat or share
– Any fun toys or outdoor games you want
