Reed-ity Creek-ity Intermedia-ty Sport Climbing

OVERVIEW

Hey guys!

Back to school means back to lovely West Virginia cragging days. We are gonna go out to Reed’s Creek, WV early Saturday morning at 6:30 am (about 2 hrs away) and crag for awhile before coming back to cville that evening. We will probably head back around 4:30 or 5 pm. Reed’s Creek (https://www.mountainproject.com/area/109444384/reeds-creek) is a sport climbing area with grades 5.7 to 5.12! There are going to be so many beginner trips to come, however, I am posting this as an intermediate trip for individuals who are interested in becoming climbing trip leaders. If you foresee yourself wanting to check out gear or lead climbing trips, please read over that document and ensure that you have the appropriate experience!

This trip is primarily for individuals who can lead climb, belay, and clean routes and who are interested in being checked off to lead with another certified climbing leader, but also those who just wanna come sport climb outside, send some cool routes, be strong, and do some rock basking are more than welcome to sign up and climb!! It will be a pretty rad wonderful awesome fun climbing filled day in the woods, with even maybe a swim in what I think is the nicest little stream in all of West Virginia.

YOU BRING:
ya climbing stuff (helmet, harness, shoes, chalk)
food and snacks
at least 2 nalgenes (its gonna be hot)
appropriate clothing to be outside all day!
