116 Washington Avenue - A.K.A. Shred Shack
on top of the world (literally people, we're talking everest)
116 Washington Avenue, Charlottesville, VA, USA
hey shredsters,
happy almost halloweekend! it’s me again, back with another trip that requires no physical fitness, but a strong heart (and stomach) nonetheless. we had a BLAST last time watching 127 hours, and now that our deans say that we can gather in groovy groups of 10, I was thinking we could watch the 2015 SOB STORY that is Everest. aside from a Dog’s Purpose, no movie has made me cry like this one. i considered doing a spooky movie, but the fear factor is strong enough in this one that I don’t think we need Tim Burton!
here’s the plan peeps: we will sneak (once again) into the front yard of the Shred Shack at 6:20, outfitted with little more than our handy dandy blankets, water bottles, masksss, and courageous hearts. will they spot us? probably. might it be a bit chilly? oh definitely, please bring an ugly sweater. but will we have an amazing time and share the power of friendship along the way??? why yes, yes we will. there may or may not be snacks again, so I recommend bringing your own but you never know!
REMEMBER: you cannot use the bathroom at the Shred Shack unless you are a resident, so please do so beforehand. there will be no access to the Shred Shack so please bring anything you think you might need with you, and use the potty beforehand!!
can’t wait to see you guys there!
I’m going to do my best to get as many people who were on the waitlist for the last movie coming to this one, so if you couldn’t make it last time for sure sign up this week! if you have any questions, please just check out my last trip posting (caught between a rock, a bigger rock, and arguable a third rock) or you can email me at bem5ycx@virginia.edu
