This is the last beginner trip/clinic for those of you who are interested/haven’t been able to get on the last two trips, before we start moving on to more intermediate trips. Also, for those of you who are more advanced, we will be going over some skills for the river. Anything from wet exits, rolls, edging, etc so that we can start getting an official team together for the competition!
We will be going to Walnut Creek Park which is a few miles outside of town. It should be great weather tomorrow, but still make sure you are prepared with enough layers to stay warm while getting wet!
I’m setting the number of attendees to 4 to start out with, but will let more people in as I get drivers signed up!
TIMES: We’ll leave from Echols around 12 or 1, spend a few hours at the lake, and be back around 5pm by the latest. (I’ll send out a confirmation on the departure time tomorrow)
THE CLUB PROVIDES: Kayaks, paddles, any other paddling gear- Please indicate when you sign up if you will need to use the club’s gear. Gas $$ is provided for drivers.
YOU PROVIDE: Bathing suit, towel, a change of clothes, $$ for food or snacks, any paddling gear you own
