HELLO GREMLINS!!! What are you doing this Saturday?? Because you are all cordially invited to come hike and have a hammock/reading/coloring/tea-drinking extravaganza with Pietro and me (Afton). Our rough plan is to hike the 6.3 mile loop around the reservoir and then set up some hammocks, snack, drink tea, read, and color.
Logistical (aka boring) stuff: We’ll prioritize drivers otherwise it’s first come first serve. If we get a second driver we can have 8 people come, if not it will be 3!
Schedule:
10:30-11:00 – leave corner of echols & drive
11-1:30 – hike!! + seep in the views of the lovely fall colors
1:30-2:30 – post hike activities
2:30-3 – drive back to Charlottesville sufficiently relaxed
What we’ll bring:
– Cards, paper + crayons
– tea bags + hot water-making supplies
– first aid
– An ungodly amount of excitement
What you’ll bring:
– ***Hammocks ***
– cards/books/coloring supplies/any relaxing activity your heart desires
– something to put tea in (if you want)
– WATERRRRR
– Casual hiking stuff
– An even ungodlier amount of hype
*** Hammocks can be checked out in gear rooms!! The hours for the rest of the week are listed below and directions can be found in the odc weekly email!
