What better way to enjoy beach week than hiking, amiright???

Let’s hike Wednesday and head an hour away into the Shenandoah National Park to Riprap Hollow. It’s a 10 mile circuit with good streams and views. There’s a swimming hole, but it’s freezing, so don’t get any ideas. We’ll take some group photos and stop to eat along the way.

Nitties and gritties:
11am – depart from Bonnycastle Circle
12pm – arrive at trailhead
5pm – finish hike
6pm – back at cville

What to bring:
– 1-2L water
– good hiking shoes (fun socks are a must)
– lunch+snacks
– warm layers (forecasted 50-60 deg temperatures all day)

Note: I can only seat 3-4, so more spots will open up as drivers sign up for this trip. Drivers get waitlist priority. The club provides reimbursement for gas plus 50% tip, so remember to arrive with a full tank of gas.
