~ Riprap Hollow Loop: 3/20 ~

OVERVIEW

I don’t know about y’all but it’s definitely time to lace up those hiking shoes and go out for a beautiful day hike, hangovers welcome!

The plan is to depart from Bonnycastle Circle around 9:00a
Drive to the Riprap Hollow Trail in Shenandoah National Park
Then to hit the trail and have a great time hiking and viewing the two outlooks and fantastic falls. (will follow the path in the following link)

The 10-day weather forecast is looking like 13 – 20 C with a big ‘ol 0% chance of rain (can you say hello spring time!)

What to bring:
2 liters of water
lunch to enjoy at one of the outlooks and snacks if you want
hiking shoes, as the hike is a delightful 9.6mi-loop
bathing suit, (if anyone else is feeling adventurous for a dip, I would definitely participate)

What the club provides:
gas reimbursement

I’ll add people once space becomes available, if you decide not to come please withdraw early so others may be added to the trip!
