RISE AND SHINE HUMPBACK HIKE

OVERVIEW

HEY FELLOW FINALS WEEK SUFFERERS –

Please join my best friend, Christie, and I on a soul searching HUMPBACK ROCKS classic sunrise hike!!!! If you too are in the mood to wake up a little too early, to have a little too much fun, and procrastinate studying for your finals a little too much, come along as we meander our way up this Charlottesville special.

We want this to be a chill and refreshing hike as we head into the bulk of finals. The timeline is as follows:

5:30 – meet Corner of Echols
6:00 or 6:10 – get to Humpback and start hiking
NO LATER THAN 7 – reach the top! (this puts us at a moderate, but adjustable pace. Should be good for all fitness levels).
Hang out! We will bring a jet boil and some hot cocoa to warm the soul inside and out as we wait for the show to start.
Probably by 8:15 or 8:30 – be back at my lovely car (Dizzle).

We will return back to grounds immediately after and can snag some Bodos if the soul searching requires it, or head straight back to the stacks.

I hope this appeals to you just as much as it does to the miraculous Christie Blonkvist and I.

– some sort of drink vessel!
– LAYERS layers layers. Will probably be a little chilly, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was windy. But it’s supposed to be beautifully clear out Tuesday Morning!

I can fit myself, Christie, and 3 others in my Subaru. If there is more interest than that, and someone else can drive, the more the merrier.
