Rise and Shine: Humpback Rock

OVERVIEW

What better way to finish this weekend than waking up before the sun and hiking for 4.2 miles? The plan is simple: meet at Echols Corner, drive for about 30 minutes and hike for about 45. The sunrise is at 7:16 am (according to Google), so we should have a 30 minute buffer in case we need extra time. If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t explored Virginia’s hiking trails, then Humpback is a must!

4. Warm layers and sturdy shoes
