2030 Morton Drive (Rivanna Trail Work-shed)
Every 2nd Saturday of the month, The Rivanna Trail Foundation holds a work-party to keep the trails in tip-top condition so we can keep doing outdoorsy activities- Mountain Bike, Trail Run, etc.
This will be the first Saturday of the school year that Uva can volunteer for and it would be great to have a large showing to support our local trail system.
The plan goes as follows: Meet at Echols at 8:20 and Depart by 8:30. Drive a short ways to the Bodos at Barracks to get our morning breakfast and then meet right outside Bodos at the Rivanna Trail Work-shed to learn about the work we are going to do for the day. We then carpool to the location we will work at and preform trail work from 9am-12pm. Prepare to get your hands dirty!
Everyone will be waitlisted at first because we do need cars to get to our work spot for the day. DRIVERS GET FIRST PRIORITY! Unless you plan to bike/walk/run to the meeting location, then I’ll add you anyways.
What you need: Closed toed-shoes, (Long Work-Pants Recommended), Work Gloves!
What to bring: $$ for Bodos and a Great Attitude!
