Rivanna Trail Work Day

OVERVIEW

Come out on Saturday from 9-12 to do some trail maintenance on the Rivanna! We all know that we use the Rivanna to no end. Those afternoon trail runs, weekend walks or totally rad mountain bike rides wouldn’t be possible without our lovely neighborhood trail. So let’s join the Rivanna Trail Club on their monthly work day to help out with the trail.

We’ll meet up at Echols at 8:50 to hop in some cars and go the 3 minutes and 27.5 seconds away to the Old Ivy trail head and get back around 12, leaving plenty of time for other awesome afternoon adventures.

You only need to bring yourself, some water and snacks if ya like. Saturday is supposed to be beautiful so come make new friends or hang out with old ones while we work on the trail!

Addtional note: I only have space for 5 in my car so if someone else signs up with a car that would be lovely! The club won’t reimburse for gas since it’s so close. Otherwise, I might consider taking two trips of people if there’s enough interest.
