Rivanna Trail Work!

OVERVIEW

Do you like being outside? Do you want to help preserve the trails right here in our backyard? Then SIGN UP.

On the second Saturday of every month the Rivanna Trail Foundation leads a “Monthly Work Party,” so next Saturday we’re gonna go out and ~party~ with them!! Our group along with other volunteers will meet here in C-Ville and then head out to a section of the Rivanna to help out with some trail maintenance.

Incentive: You’ll be outside, with cool people, and you get FREE BODOS. I can take orders of up to 5$ for everyone that comes and volunteers. Thats a lot of Bodos.

Plan: Meet at Echols wall at 8:15 and drive to the Bodos off 29 (The RTF tool shed where we’re meeting the other groups is right behind it.) I’ll buy everyone breakfast and we can eat there, then head over to the tool shed to meet the other groups at 8:45. We’ll then carpool over to the trail, work from 9am-12pm, and be back to grounds by ~12:15

Make sure to wear close-toed shoes, stuff you don’t mind getting a little dirty, and some water.

Everyone will be waitlisted until we have drivers.
