Road Biking

OVERVIEW

We will go biking down the rolling roads of the Charlottesville countryside. We’ll do an easy 16 mile ride that doesn’t have any huge hills (although it’s got lots of small ones 🙂

The club has 5 nice mountain bikes, water bottles, and helmets you can borrow if you don’t have one. If you will be supplying your own bike, while it doesn’t need to be a $1000 road bike, I wouldn’t recommend using a heavy bike like a Huffy or Murray. If you got your bike at Toys R Us or Wal-Mart or some place like that, then chances are it’s too heavy. If in doubt, send me an email with a description of your bike.

If you are supplying your own bike, you must bring a helmet and water.

I set the trip size to 6 since we only have 5 bikes we can lend, but if you have your own bike, go ahead and sign up even if it’s full and I’ll add you in.
