Road Biking

OVERVIEW

We will go biking down the rolling roads of the Charlottesville countryside. We’ll do the same easy 16 mile ride from last time that everybody liked.

The club has 5 nice mountain bikes, water bottles, and helmets you can borrow if you don’t have one. If you will be supplying your own bike, while it doesn’t need to be a $1000 road bike, I wouldn’t recommend using a heavy bike like a Huffy or Murray. If you got your bike at Toys R Us or Wal-Mart or some place like that, then chances are it’s too heavy. If in doubt, send me an email with a description of your bike.

If you are supplying your own bike, you must bring a helmet and water.

If you have your own bike, go ahead and sign up even if it’s full and I’ll automatically add you in. If you don’t have a bike, sign up and a spot might open up.
