Rock Climbing – Hidden Rocks

OVERVIEW

Sunday is forecast to be 67 degrees and partly sunny so lets go get some climbing in! This trip will go to Hidden Rocks, which is a small crag near Harrisonburg. There are plenty of good routes, and the wall is 30-50ft high. All the routes are top ropes, so there won’t be any sport climbing on this trip! Put your gym climbing to the test and come on out. Grades range from 5.6 to 5.11, and there are some short cracks of easy/moderate grades if you want to learn/practice crack techniques.

I’ll be starting with a trip size of 4, which is the number of people I can fit in my car. I’ll expand the size as I get drivers, so go ahead and sign up, you’ll probably get in.

Trip Requirements: Able to tie in and belay.

You provide: Water, Lunch, appropriate clothing, $$ for a possible dinner stop on the way home, any climbing gear you have.

Club provides: Any climbing gear you don’t have, transportation, $$ for drivers, and a rockin good time.
